The Nutcracker

 

I still remember the first time I saw it. I was a very small girl and my grandmother took me, all dressed up in my very ruffliest of ruffled dresses. I am sure my mom put my hair in long ringlets, because that was how we did it way back in the 1900s! But curls or no-curls, the Nutcracker was definitely my first experience with live ballet and filled me with wide-eyed wonder. 

 

Ever since that evening the beauty of the music and the dazzling colors and pageantry of the Nutcracker have been inextricably linked to Christmas for me.

So this year I have had great fun dreaming up lovely soaps that capture a bit of the heart and the magic of Clara's beautiful dream.

Life is stressful and busy. My goal is to help you slow down, to feel the joy that flits through our souls when we stop to appreciate the beauty and abundance that surrounds us.

Colonel Brandon is my favorite soap! I love that it's so clean and safe for even the most sensitive skin. The oatmeal is so soothing and it just smells so lovely! I love all of Amanda's soaps, but Colonel Brandon is my go-to for body, face, and hands in the kitchen, the bathroom and the shower. 5 stars!
